New welcome sign GSUUpdate by MADELINE BERMAN At this week's Geoduck Student Union (GSU) meeting, the be rebuilt GSU were able to approve several proposals that have been to on their agenda for weeks, including creating a statement against Evergreen Police Services receiving AR-15 rifles, as well as try utilizing an internet chat room for a more efficient discussion. All ofthe comments were typed from individual's laptops and projected onto a screen at the front of the room for everyone to see. While this allowed representatives to express themselves at their discretion, it was commented that it was difficult to AFTER ITS RECENT COMPLETION, WORKERS AT THE COLLEGE HAD TO DISMANTLE A NEWLY follow both the spoken discussion and the one on screen, BUILT WELCOME SIGN NEAR THE ROUNDABOUT.
