GIFTS, GRANTS, IMPACT… RIPPLES MAKING WAVES IN OUR COMMUNITIES 2014 annual report Our Mission is to improve the quality of life in our communities by assisting donors in fulfilling their charitable wishes. 2014 annual report 1 Stats President’s Message... 2 Fulton County Dear Friends and Supporters of NICF, Council on Aging 4 Fulton County Funds This year offered an exceptional opportunity through the generous support of the Lilly Endowment, as they are once again offering a matching grant opportunity. 6 Fulton County Scholarships This phase of the GIFT Initiative is focusing on strengthening community 8 Fulton County Grants foundations themselves by raising matching funds. Within our three communities, we have been offered a total of $1.5 million in matching funds. Within our rural 12 Fulton County Donors settings, this level of matching funds can be significant. It has been twelve years 18 United Way of Miami County since the Lilly Endowment last offered a matching opportunity. I can remember 02 Miami County Funds that fact, as it was my first year on the NICF board. The current GIFT Phase VI began in August and will continue through March of 2016. 22 Miami County Scholarships 24 Miami County Grants It is easy to say that we had another great year in all three counties. I feel that it was accomplished through team effort, which required extra dedication from 26 Miami County Donors many individuals.
