Minor changes to the times of Pewsey Vale buses 101, 102 and 103 starting on 15 December 2019 On 15 December, there will be major alterations to the times that trains call at Pewsey Station. We will therefore be making a few adjustments to the timetable of services 101 and 102 from the same date to try to match these, but unfortunately some of the train time changes are so great that it will not be immediately possible for us to provide as many convenient connections with trains as we have done previously. In particular, we regret that we will not be able to provide a connection on weekdays with the new 0930 train to London as the buses are required to operate school services until 0900. We will however be providing a connection with that train on Saturdays by retiming the first bus from Devizes to run 45 minutes earlier. At the same time, we will also be introducing an extra early morning journey at 0720 from Upavon to Devizes on weekdays and a few other journeys will depart slightly earlier to improve reliability, so please check the new timetables in this leaflet carefully to avoid missing your bus. How to use the Pewsey Vale Bus Services If you are boarding the bus at Devizes Market Place or at Pewsey Co-op, or at any point in the villages where a time is shown in the timetable, you do not need to book a seat through the call centre as the bus will always call at those bus stops. However, if you need to board a bus at a village where there is a ( symbol in the timetable instead of a time, then you will need to ring the call centre to ensure that the bus goes that way to pick you up. Our call centre number is 01722 326 154 and the booking line is open between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on weekdays and between 8.30 am and 1 pm on Saturdays. Please note that if you wish to travel before 10 am, we recommend that you book your seat on the previous working day, as the call centre is often at its busiest first thing in the morning. If you travel regularly on services 101, 102 and 103 and do not have a free bus pass, you may find it cheaper to purchase a 10-journey ticket from the driver. We also offer Season Tickets which give unlimited travel on these services for 3, 6 or 12 month periods, and young people aged between 17 and 21 can purchase a one year Young Persons Discount Card allowing them to travel on these services at child fares.
