The guidance issued to schools state that face coverings should be worn by parents and other visitors to all school sites (whether entering the building or otherwise), including parents at drop-off and pick-up. Face coverings will continue to be required on school transport. One change is that children will be able to return to school with school bags, pencil cases etc. Children will be able to change in their PE Kits in school to participate in PE Lessons. Following changes to the self-isolation guidance, whole class groups will no longer be asked to self-isolate when one person tests positive. Instead, a targeted approach will be taken whereby those most at risk will be identified. Should your child be the one who tests positive, they will still be required to self- isolate for 10 days.
