Well, for $1.99 you can do things such as edit all of the icons, and set home screen shortcuts that will take you straight to someone’s Face- book page (I won’t judge you…. Too horribly), or to the upgrade screen of Plants Vs. Zombies. If you want a phone that is truly unique to you, then you can download it off from the appstore today. Dayre: If you don’t have Tumblr and you want something pretty dang close, and in my opinion a lot more pleasing to the eye, then you can pick this up from the appstore for free today. Dayre allows you to take pictures, sound clips, and even videos of your life and upload them to your own personalized blog style page which has its own URL ,so your friends can follow your ex- ploits. Plants Vs. Zombies: How could you make a list of apps without including this game? Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense game where you have to plant plants to protect your brains from the zombies. You, as the player, have a whole arsenal of greenery at your disposal ranging from peashooters to cherry-bombs! If you would like to get this,you can grab it from the appstore for $0.99. Pandora: Pandora radio is my favorite radio service on mobile devices. Pandora not only gives you music you love, it also helps you find more music that you will like based on the style, tempo, and group you are listening to. The only downside is that you must be connected to the internet to use it. However, that shouldn’t be much trouble considering most phones have 3/4g. You can start finding new music by downloading this for free from the appstore. Kandi is an American actress, singer, song writer, record producer, and television personality. She has a lot of songs out and some that I would love to share with you are: “Haven’t Loved Right”, ”Let Them Love”, “Don’t Think I’m Not”, “Stay Prayed”, “Cheating On Me”, “Leave You”, and “Fly Above”. Additionally, she’s been in a TV show that is called “Bravo” and the show she is currently in is called “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Also noteworthy is her part in the movie, Second Chance Christmas. She is in a relationship with Todd Tucker who is also in “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” They got married on April 4, 2014 and are now living a good life in Atlanta, Georgia. Kandi’s Parents, Titus and Joyce Burruss Jr. have also appeared in their show, “The Real House- wives of Atlanta.” All in all, Kandi Burruss is a good person. by Davanta P a g e 7 E a g l e E y e The Way to Play Video games are something everyone can find some sort of fun in, and so in this article I will recommend 3 of my favorite games to you. 1. World of Warcraft: World of Warcraft has been running since 2004, and is one of the most popular massively multiplayer online (MMO) games in the world and my personal favorite. WoW allows you to choose one of the two opposing factions: Alliance or Horde and make your character out of the eight playable races ranging from Goblins to Elves, even Gnomes! After you choose your race, you are able to choose one of the eleven playable classes available to that race, so you could be a melee fighting warrior, or a spell-casting mage. The point of WoW is to quest through the huge, beautiful world of Azeroth (and a planet in space called Outland), to level up your character, and eventually get to the high level content. But don’t worry, if you don’t feel like doing that, then you can spend your time doing Pokemon style pet battles, or collecting mounts, and with the new expansion Warlords of Draenor, now is a great time to start playing. Platforms: PC, Mac 2. Brütal Legend: So, any game that features Jack Black as the main character totally wins me over instantly. I bought this game because it was a dollar during a Steam sale, and my life has been changed! You play as Eddie Riggs a roadie (voiced by Jack Black) who was sent to the land of heavy metal to help fight off numerous big-bads. You meet many famous artists along your travels such as: Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford, Lemmy Kilmister, and Rob Halford. You battle evil with your Flying V guitar, and a battle axe in a world inspired by the album covers of metals past. If this game doesn’t interest you in even the slightest with its witty humor and absurd story-line, then we just can’t ever talk. Platforms: PC, OS X, Linux, X-Box 360, and PS3 3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Okay, so by this time in our lives you have seen or heard of the GTA series. There have been many controversies surrounding them, and they have a really amazing story line. GTA: SA in my opinion is the best game in the 16 title series. Here’s the synopsis from the Rockstar Games website: “His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.” This game was the first of many things for the series, holds a Metacritic score of 95, and was Playstation’s game of the year for 2004. I recommend you pick this up for the experience of story mode. It will change you with its humor yet gripping seriousness! Well, I’m going to be recommending 3 of my favorite TV shows. 1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Joss Whedon once said, “ Make it dark, make it grim, but for the love of God tell a joke.” This statement sums up this show perfectly! Buffy the Vampire Slayer takes place in the fictional town of Sunnydale, California and centers on Buffy’s ex- ploits in fighting everything from vampires, to robots. The show also has great character development and an epic progressive story. It knows how to make you laugh and then make you cry. You can stream it from Netflix and Hulu or you can purchase it. 2. Doctor Who: Doctor Who started in 1963 and has been running ever since (excluding the stall period between old DW and the new DW). Doctor Who stars the time-traveling, regenerating Doctor on his escapades through space, time, and sometimes even alternate dimensions! He picks up different companions as the seasons go on, as well as his regener- ations to a different actor and personality.
