State statutes require the issuance of a CAFR by every school district as the basis for the annual audit. This CAFR was prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) as applicable to governmental entities. Responsibility for both the accuracy of the data and the completeness and fairness of the presentation, including all disclosures, rests with the management of the Mount Olive Township Board of Education (“Board”). To the best of our knowledge and belief, the data presented in this report is accurate in all material respects and is reported in a manner designed to present fairly the financial position and results of operations of the District. All disclosures necessary to enable the reader to gain an understanding of the District’s financial activities have been included. The Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), which immediately follows the independent auditor’s report, provides a narrative overview and analysis of the basic financial statements. The MD&A is intended to complement this letter of transmittal and should be read in conjunction with it.
