Digital Audio The DAT is a single recording device 1987 developed by Sony. This device uses Tape (DAT) magnetic tape much like a compact cassette and looks a lot like it to but it is half the size and records digital rather than analog. Sound Tools Sound Tools started in 1989 and was a 1987 revolutionary peace of music editing software. As the software was developed it was later named Pro Tools and is still one of the worlds leading music editing software. The Wavefrom Audio File Format 1991 WAV WAVE or very rarely called audio for windows is microsofts equivalent of an AIFF =ile. Digital compact The DDC was created by Philips and 1992 this is just a digital version of a Cassette compact Cassette MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 Audio Layer 3 or 1993 MP3 more commonly known as an MP3 was the =irst lossy format. MP3’s are very portable and have a small =ile size but have very bat quality. The DVD is the same shape and size of 1997 DVD a CD accept it can hold 4.7GB of data. Developed by Sony. Philips, Toshiba and Panasonic. DVDs are most commonly used for =ilms. © The DVD-Audio is a digital format 1999 DVD-A designed for audio. It offered high idelity audio on a DVD. A =lac =ile is much like an MP3 =ile but 2000 FLAC designed to be mass produced and given out for free at low quality for marketing purposes. The phone also allowed apps to be widely and easily used across the nation. Some apps even allow you to live edit some songs, pictures, anything.
