Vol. (~ No.2, June, 1992 79 The Delphacidae of Yukon Territory, Canada (Homoptera: Fulgoroidea) Stephen W. Wilson Department of Biology, Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, MO 64093 Abstract Twenty nine species of Delphacidae are recorded from the Yukon Territory, Canada, two additional ones from an adjacent region of Northwest Territories, and one species from coastal Alaska. Two new ienera are described: A8chedelphaxWilsonandYakorwdelphaxWilson. Sixnewspeciesaredescribed:AschedelphaxhJ:Jchne Wilson. DelphacodesanufrieviWilson, D. ernelianoviWilson, Javesella llaWilson, Not1wdelphaxglar:iaWilson, and Yukonodelphax kendalkre Wilson. Aschedelphax colorad.ensis (Beamer), Javesella kilmani (Van Duzee), Yukonodelphaxpediforma (Beamer~ and Y. stramineosa(Beamer) are new combinations. Kusnezoviella matisi Anufriev andEmeljanov isa juniorsynonym ofK. macleaniWilson andDelphacodes hyalinaBeameris a junior synonym ofNot1wdelp/w,x albomrinata (8t8.1). Ofthe 32 species included inthe study, 18 have a Holarctic distribution - 10 ofthese are amphi-Beringian. The remaining 14 species are restricted to the Nearetie, 5 of these are ~rded only from the Yukon and Northwest Territories. Introduction ~ar northern environments comes from a number of OCCUITe In e ae c. erecen aun surveys aunal and reVISlonary studies.
