This is the first time the clubs have met since the sad passing of Lorna The draw was made for the Scottish Cup this week and we have Macintosh in the close season. It won’t be the same without Lorna in been drawn away to Gala Fairydean Rovers. We have never played our boardroom and albeit belatedly we pass on our sincere at Galashiels although we have played them before in the Scottish condolences to Alan and the family. Lorna was very much a Highland Cup. That was back in 1956 almost 60 years to the day of the tie League person. There are people all over the league who you associate later this month. How pleased were you with the performance and getting another 3 points on the board? Rothes came to Bellslea with a game plan and to be fair to them it worked well for quite some time. We just had to be patient as we were creating chances and I was confident if we kept it up then we would eventually take one. Once Jamie got our first goal we seemed to relax a bit and play with more fluency. Up until then I felt we weren't moving the ball quick enough and as a result we gave Rothes the chance to get in to their defensive shape. We won in the end which is the important thing to keep us in the mix so I have to be happy with that Today sees another tough match against Lossiemouth who have Was it good to get a break with the postponement of the Turriff made a good start to the season. What are your thoughts on the United game given the busy of schedule of matches so far this match? season? Lossiemouth have had an excellent start to the season. I know they We will see over the next few games how much the break has affected us. suffered a big loss to Brora recently but Brora are capable of doing that It can give players a much needed break and allow any minor niggles or to any team. We went up there last year and lost 6. That result aside they strains time to clear up. On the other hand, it can affect the momentum have started very well and beating Wick away and Turriff also is no easy which teams may have built up. After a win you look to get the next game task so they have to be commended for that. Charlie has been in this as soon as possible as the players will be playing with confidence and will league for a long time so knows what is required. They will come here up look to keep a run going. Have breaks like we did may upset our rhythm a for a battle and will be looking to take the points away with them like they bit but hopefully we pick up where we left off. did last season. It is up to us to make sure this doesn't happen. Last year our results at home were not acceptable. We are looking to turn this You have been handed away ties in both the Scottish Cup at Gala around and make Bellslea a fortress again. Fairydean Rovers and Keith in the Aberdeenshire Shield. How happy are you with the draws? All the Best I'm not one to look too much in to draws and ties which are weeks away. I Mark try to focus on one game at a time so am fully concentrating on Lossiemouth. The Scottish cup is a competition that everyone wants to do well in and progress as far as possible. We will treat this game very carefully when the time comes and try to prepare the players as much as possible. It is a long journey but that is just the luck of the draw. Hopefully we can go down there and come back with a positive result. Again we want to win the Aberdeenshire Shield again. This is our trophy and we want to keep it here. Keith away is a very tough draw. The first thing you look for is a home tie and they have got it. Allan has got them playing decent football and according to reports I've heard about them, they have been quite unlucky not to have got more out of some games as they have more than matched most teams so we will know that this is going to be a tough game. That said I'm confident that no team in this league will be looking forward to playing us in a cup competition so we will go there prepared as we always are and try to win the game as we always do.
