The club, although starting off on the right track failed to live up to the team’s high expectations and finished in eighth spot. The Lambert Park faithful have been starved of success and are hoping that 2017 will be the year for their team to rediscover their winning form. However, the pressure will be on and another slow start could have serious repercussions. Players were left thinking what could've been after Brian Brown’s side fought back from a horror start to the season. While they are focused on hitting the ground running from round one, the White Eagles will enter this season already battling an injury crisis at the club with Milan Susak, Aaron Peterson, Ben Spruce, James Chronopoulous and Asmir Kadric all featuring on the injured list.
