In order to be granted the OSSD, students must earn 19 compulsory credits and 11 elective credits for a total of 30 credits. Ridley students taking IB courses, or pursuing the IB Diploma, earn two equivalent OSSD credits for every two-year IB course successfully completed. Additional Ridley College Graduation Requirements • Foreign Language – Minimum of 2 credits • Community Service – Minimum 10 hours per year • Athletics – Participate one sport per term • Activities – Minimum two per year • Cadets – Participate fully in our cadet program IB DIPLOMA Results and Reporting Information Ridley College is moving towards becoming an International Baccalaureate Continuum school. Currently authorized to deliver the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), the Middle Years programme (MYP) is scheduled for authorization and full implementation in September 2015. In May 2014 the first cohort of Ridley College Diploma Programme students completed their IB examinations, surpassing Canadian and global standards for performance.
