Headline Sponsor: COMMERCIAL EVENTS/ MARKETS/EXHIBITIONS McArthurGlen East Midlands Pop-Up Summer Park Under 500,000 sq ft Excellent planning, delivery and execution of a clean and seasonal event, well done. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Good solid results, the Co-Investment strategy works and is a great way to run this kind of event. Dwell time, footfall and social stats are all very encouraging * A very attractive event backed up by some seriously impressive KPI’s * Super results that clearly enthused shoppers Brent Cross Shopping Centre The Beach at Brent Cross 500,000 - 1 million sq ft A truly mind blowing event and a wonder for Brent Cross. To get visitors sunbathing in North London is an achievement in itself! JUDGES COMMENTS: * Bringing a beach to the north circular was ambitious, but the implementation and delivery, the breadth and scale of the event shows real commitment and great execution * Tremendous results for all involved and those surrounding the event. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Successful integration of multiple brands all vying for the best, most premium placements. A good looking event with stats to match * Excellent implementation and delivery as expected, the venue and the content lends itself well to this kind of event * Pulling 18 brands together is no small task. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Really great innovation shown here, and creative, outside-the-box use of space available * A focussed and timely campaign dawning on a collaboration of partners, employing technology and working outside the boundaries expected within the industry * Very engaging campaign using new technology OTHER RETAIL ENVIRONMENTS: POP UP SHOPS / TEMPORARY LETS Transport for London Old Street Underground Station Wow, a great example of innovation and creativity to transform an old and tired retail space into something vibrant and engaging. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Vibrant, safe redevelopment of unused space with great commercials * The figures paint a picture of a very successful transformation. The success is more than just the huge increase in rental income. EXPERIENTIAL Rolls Royce Motors Limited The Wraith of the North Under 500,000 sq ft This had a luxury feel at every single touch point. Loved the experience day. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Well executed campaign. Nice classy integrated campaign to drive engagement * A real coup to attract such an exclusive brand. Some lovely augmentation elements including engaging with Ted Baker thereby extending the experience to their brand too * Creative targeting and a nice box of tricks Headline Sponsor: Bluewater and Location Live Bluewater and Location Live – Samsung 360 SoundLab Over 1 million sq ft A well designed and innovative multi faceted campaign that had a hit of the WOW factor. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Location Live - great implementation. Impressive use of space and client/centre relationship. Sure others learnt from these learnings * Little to fault on the delivery of this campaign with well executed delivery of a number of complimenting media facets * Synergy between the Bluewater environment, their shoppers and the retail tie in with John Lewis led to a truly immersive event Sky UK Game of Thrones – Throne Tour Multiple locations There is a reason this sort of activity is so popular. It drives the message hard by giving customers content with your brand that they WANT to share. JUDGES COMMENTS: * Wins on so many front; great consumer interaction, giving them a unique experience, Great for the show, great for DVD sales and great for upselling the SKY family package.
