Unfortunately, our representative was unable to remain for the hearing's public session which took place that evening. Therefore, at that time, this organization could not present to you and your staff our opinions on the matter. We do, however, wish to submit the attached statement of position concerning the October 17, 1980 malfunction which the NRC is now investigating.
