
Welcome to Grid Port! Full documentation follows this summary of supported chat commands: The following commands can be issued in local chat or your designated alternate command channel to control Grid Port: OPTIONS /help - Grid Port will give you this notecard when this command is issued on the Command Channel (default 0). /menu - Brings up the Options menu /install - Rezzes a Grid Port Content Installer orb for adding content to Grid Port. /clock # - Specifies the number of hours of difference for your time zone. Eastern time would be /clock 3, since SL time is three hours earlier. /themes - Brings up a menu of desktop themes for your Grid Port Smart HUD /<theme> - Sets your Grid Port desktop theme to <theme>. For example, "/Basic Blue" would set Grid Port to its default desktop theme. /pose - Toggles a standard editing appearance pose On/Off. /sit - Toggles a ground sit animation On/Off. /undeform - Stops animations and undeforms your avatar /deanim - Same as /undeform /channel # - Sets your command channel /gravity <float_value> - Sets your personal gravity. Values less than 0.0 will make you heavier. Values between 0.0 and 1.0 will make you lighter. Values over 1.0 will cause you to float. 1.0 is neutral gravity. /super jump - Toggles Super Jump On/Off. Changing your gravity settings will affect how high you can jump. /titler - Brings up a text box into which you can enter a message to be displayed in hovertext. Message must be less than 255 characters in length. /text <text string> - Sets your titler text directly without using the text box. /titler on - Turns the titler on, if titler text is not empty. /titler off - Turns the titler off. /titler color - Brings up the Color Change pad to allow you to select the color for the titler. /titler <vector color> - Allows you to directly specify the color vector to be used for the titler. Float values from 0 to 1, or integer values from 0 to 255 are permitted. TELEPORTING /<destination name> - Grid Port will teleport you to <destination name>. /beams - Brings up a menu of beam styles from which to choose. /portals - Brings up a menu of portal styles from which to choose. /use beams - Grid Port will use beams for teleporting to other regions. /use portals - Grid Port will use portals for teleporting to other regions. /beam2 or /tp2 xxx,yyy,zzzz - Teleport to specific coordinates within the same region. You may also use /beam2 xxx,yyy, and /beam2 zzzz. /beam2cam or /tpcam - Teleport to your camera position. /surface - Teleports you to either the ground or water surface, whichever is directly below you. /return - Teleports you back to your last location within the region. /transport - Brings up a menu of local destinations within the same region, including Grid Port Receiving Pads and Grid Port Scene destinations. It is the same as selecting Local Dest from the main Grid Port Transport menu. /history - Brings up a menu of destinations you have visited with the most recent listed first. /favs or /favorites - Brings up a menu of your stored favorite destinations listed alphabetically. /slurl <slurl> - Allows you to add an SLurl to your favorites list. Enter the name for the new favorite in the provided text box. /tpsave or /addfav - Saves your current location in your favorites list. You may optionally add a name for the location by typing "/tpsave <location name>" or "/addfav <location name>". Providing no name will cause the favorite to be saved under the parcel name. /delfav - Brings up a menu to allow you to delete a favorite destination. /delfav <location name> - Deletes the specified location from your favorites list. /beam radius <float radius> - This command sets your beam radius inside which other avatars may be teleported. The default is 1.0 meters, maximum is 10.0 meters. /private - Causes Grid Port to filter out all destinations that do not belong to you. /public - Causes Grid Port to display all public destinations. /rez pad - Rezzes a Grid Port Receiver Pad at your feet. /clear pads - Deletes all Grid Port Receiver Pads in the region. /pads on - Activates all Grid Port Receiver Pads in the region. /pads off - Deactivates all Grid Port Receiver Pads in the region. GRID PORT RECEIVING PAD Note: These commands are always issued in public chat on channel 0. They may also be issued as link messages (i.e - llMessageLinked(LINK_THIS, 0, "/pad on", NULL_KEY)) /pad on - Turns the receiving pad on. /pad off - Turns the receiving pad off. While off, it will not be visible in destination menus. /pad hide - Hides the pad by making it fully transparent. /pad show - Reveals the pad. /pad name <pad name> - Sets the name of the receiving pad. Add an "!" at the beginning of the name to designate it for owner only use or add an "*" at the beginning of the name to designate it for group only use. Pad names should be no longer than 12 characters. RLV /rlv - Toggles between Off, Ask Permission, and Auto Accept modes. /77 safeword - Releases all RLV restrictions /lock - Locks Grid Port to your avatar so that it cannot be accidentally detached. This will also prevent editing of Grid Port. /unlock - Unlocks Grid Port so that it can be detached. SCENES /scenes - Brings up the main scene rezzer menu /clear scene - Clears the current scene /run <scene name>, /load <scene name>, or /accio <scene name> - Rezzes the specified scene. /hide shell - Hides the shell /show shell - Shows the shell /clear shell - Derezzes the shell and de-selects using a shell /arch - Rezzes a scene rezzer interface in world 10M north of the scene rez position. /scene pos <vector pos> - Sets your scene position. (i.e. "/scene pos <128,128,2000>") /scene up <float>- Raises the scene by <float> meters (i.e. "/scene up 0.5") /scene down <float> - Lowers the scene by <float> meters. (i.e. "/scene down 0.5") TOOLS /tools - Brings up the main Tools and Vehicles menu. /tool <tool name> - Rezzes the specified tool. /vehicle <vehicle name> - Rezzes the specified vehicle /vehicles - Brings up the Vehicles menu /clear tools - Clears all tools rezzed by Grid Port in the region. /clear vehicles - Clears all vehicles rezzed by Grid Port in the region. /delete tool <tool name> - Deletes the specified tool from Grid Port's inventory. /delete vehicle <vehicle name> - Deletes the specified vehicle from Grid Port's inventory. WALKER: /walkers - Brings up a menu of walker styles from which to choose. /walker - This command toggles between On, Water mode, and Off. /walker <walker name> - Sets your Sky Walker style. /water walker <walker name> - Sets your Water Walker style. die walker - Causes the walker under you to derez. This command can be issued by any avatar for whom you have rezzed a walker. VANISH /vanish - Toggles a vanish animation and triggers your selected poofer style. EMOTICONS /emotes - Brings up a menu of emoticons from which to choose. /emote <emote name> or /<emote name> - Starts the selected emoticon. /emote off or /emote cancel - Turns off the emoticon. Clicking the emote icon above your avatar will also cancel the emoticon. LIGHT /light or /light on - Turns the Grid Port personal lighting system On. /light off - Turns the Grid Port personal lighting system Off. /light low - Sets light intensity to Low /light med - Sets light intensity to Medium (default) /light high - Sets light intensity to High /light <color_vector> - Sets light to specific color vector. Range can be either 0.0 to 1.0 or 0 to 255 for each component. <255,255,255> = <1.0,1.0,1.0> /light color - Brings up the Color Panel to set the light color. MOVELOCK /movelock - Toggles movelock On or Off. RADAR /radar - Toggles between Avatar Scanner, Land Scanner, and Off. /radar avi - Selects Avatar Scanner mode. /radar land - Selects Land Scanner mode. /radar limit # - Limits the number of avatars displayed /radar off - Turns radar off. /radar left - Moves radar hovertext display left on the screen by 0.1m. /radar right - Moves radar hovertext display right on the screen by 0.1m. /radar up - Moves radar hovertext display up on the screen by 0.1m. /radar down - Moves radar hovertext display down on the screen by 0.1m. /parcel - Toggles between region and parcel land information. /sort - Toggles between sorting avatars in ascending or descending distance order. /chat - Toggles avatar in chat range notification. /chatbell - Toggles an audible bell when other avatars enter chat range. AVATARS /avatars - Brings up a menu of avatars in the region from which to choose. DASHING /dashers - Brings up a menu of dashing effects from which to choose. /dash - Toggles between dashing On, Mouse dash, and dashing Off. /dash slow, /dash med, /dash fast /dash on - Turns dashing On /dash off - Turns dashing Off /dash mouse - Enables Mouse mode. Left mouse click to dash. /dash blink - Displays dash effect at the end of dashing, rather than during dashing. /dash to xxx,yyy,zzzz - Dashes to specific coordinates within the region. /dash to xxx,yyy - Dashes to specific X and y coordinates, keeping the current z coordinate. /dash to zzzz - Dashes to a specific altitude, while keeping the current x and y coordinates. POOFERS /tp poofer - Toggles rezzing poofers automatically On/Off when grid teleporting. /poofers - Brings up the Poofers menu /poofer colors - Brings up the poofer colors menu. /poofer <poofer name> - Selects a specific poofer /delete poofer <poofer name> - Deletes specified poofer from inventory. ============================================================== GRID PORT FULL DOCUMENTATION If you have even casually perused the summary of supported chat commands, above, you know that you are now in control of a very powerful and versatile multi tool for navigating, building, managing your land, role playing, or just having fun with your friends in Second Life!
