Defensive Kelly Eastman • McKendree #26, Fr., G, 5-11 O’Fallon, Ill./O’Fallon Township HS Eastman made a school-record 15 saves and tallied two ground balls in the Bearcats’ finale game of the season, a 21-3 loss to No. 15 Lindenwood last Wednesday (May 1)… Her 15 saves were the equal to the fourth highest single-game total in the WILA this season… She played all 60 minutes in the game recording a .417 save percentage… Eastman finished the season with a WILA-leading total of 139 saves, the sec- ond greatest in league history and was tied for the WILA lead in ground balls (40). The Players of the Week are selected by a vote of the WILA Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors. Top Defensive Player: Lauren Elliott (#17, So., D, 5-7, Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe HS) Elliott tallied four ground balls and a caused turnover to help lead the Maverick defense against Colorado College (L, 10-15) on Tuesday (Apr. 30). Team Notes: The Mavericks finished their season last Tuesday (Apr. 30), falling 15-10 to Colorado College... Allie Henderson scored three goals in the game finishing the season with a team-leading 36, the fourth most in the WILA and the most of any player not from Lindenwood... She also finished fifth in the WILA and tops amongst non-Lindenwood players with 53 total points... CMU had five players with double digit goals this season... Joining Henderson in that group were Ashley Eickoff (33), Lexie Chavez (22), Kelsey Krebs (19) and Paige Amme (12)… Eickoff, Krebs and Amme are all freshman... The Mavs averaged 11.39 goals per game and had a .811 shot on goal percentage this season... Goalkeepers Lauren Wells and Kady Herzog have a combined GAA of 13.84...
