They are behind the wheel of the bus taking us so many amazing places. I recently had the privilege of riding with Dale. He has been with the company for a little over 3 years. Dale was the driver for the Country Farm Tour that took us through the winding roads of Richland County. Dale gets up before most all of us to inspect the motor coach and review the maps before he heads to the Fun DBus Headquarters to pick up his first group of passengers. Off we went through the various roadways of the central Ohio. Through country backroads, Interstate Highways, and urban roadways picking up the passengers that spend the days with us. But Dale's day is not just about driving, it is also about interacting with the customers and enjoying the same activities that the customers do. RDale got to ride along on the wagon tour of Malabar Farm and learn about Malabar Farm where Pulitzer Prize winner Louis Bromfield shared his knowledge of sustainable agriculture. He also got to see the cabin used in the movie Shawshank Redemption. Then it was off to The Blueberry Patch where he ate a lunch with the customers on the tour and they got to enjoy his witty humor. Next we went to the Alpaca Farm where Dale got to hand feed a llama, an alpaca and a couple sheep. Our last stop was the Groovy Plant Ranch where the boy scout in Dale came out and he helped the guests cross the road (Yes, Dale was actually a boy scout a I "few" years ago.) Dale ended the day with a quick joke and took the guests back to their vehicles. Watching each passenger to make sure they were safely in their cars. After the final passenger leaves, Dale takes the bus to get it fueled for the next trip and takes it back to the garage to end his Vday. DRIVEDRIVE FORFOR US!US!
