She was a homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed her grandchildren, attending church, and word puzzles. He was 68 years of age. He had been in ill health about five months. Mr. Jackson, a farmer of the Blue Springs community, had been living retired here about two years. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. A. P. Jackson, two sons, W. D. Jackson and G. C. Jackson, both of Jacksonville; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Millinor, of Perry; Mrs. W. E. Ward, of Madison; and Mrs. J. A. Born in Savannah July 29, 1944, he lived there for many years before moving to Pierce County in the early ‘90’s. </p><p>He served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam and was a heavy equipment operator at Kings Bay for many years. He was an avid drag racing fan and car enthusiast. He was of the Methodist faith. He was the son of the late Virgil J. and Edith Louise Benelle Jackson. Burns Funeral Home, Perry, FL and Mayo, FL, May 16, 2014) Esther H. Jackson, age 90, peacefully passed away on May 16, 2014, with her family by her side in DeLand, FL. Esther was born January 13, 1924, in Mayo, FL, to the late Wesley and Katie Hewitt, both of whom were also born in Mayo. Esther was married to Charles Lester Jackson for nearly 51 years until his death in January 1992. She and Lester lived in Cocoa, FL for over twenty years where she was a homemaker while her husband was a fireman at Cape Canaveral, FL. They later moved to Eustis, FL where </p><p>they enjoyed their lives in the country. After Lester’s retirement, they traveled over the country, camping in Alaska, </p><p>Yellowstone Park and many other places. Esther was a source of strength for all her family and enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and the outdoors. She was a very active member of the Church of God and worked with various clubs and groups in each of the churches she and Lester attended. She devoted much of her time and energy to the church and to her family. Esther was predeceased by her husband Charles Lester Jackson, and by her brothers: J. B. Hewitt, P. K. Hewitt, Harlow Hewitt, and Ray Hewitt, and by her sisters: Marie Hewitt Sullivan and Verniel Hewitt Johnson and a great grandson, Jonathan Taylor. She is survived by her 3 children: Charles Arlis Jackson, Annette Horak and Kenneth W. Jackson; 6 grandchildren: Wayne Hanna, Kevin Hanna, Tammy Hanna Kelly, Kristine Branch, Sean Jackson, and Jenell Jackson Pratley, and 11 great grandchildren; her 3 sisters: Eloise Hewitt Murrell, Jean Hewitt Bell and Joan Hewitt Murray and numerous nieces and nephews. Zion Church at Cherry Lake. </p><p><strong>JACKSON, Fay Blondina Clark Jackson </strong></p><p>(Abstracted from the 13 June 2019 Waycross, GA Journal Herald Newspaper) A celebration of life service for Fay Blondina Clark Jackson, age 70, will be at Family Worship Center, 631 Izlar St. She was born Jan. 13, 1949 in Waycross to the late Clarence Clark Jr. and Lucy Mae Williams Powell. She received her formal education from the Waycross Public School System and graduated from Center High School in 1967. She furthered her education in the Job Corps in Excelsion Spring, MO, where her major study was in the medical field. She later moved to Dallas, TX where she resided until moving back to Waycross in 1991. After returning to Waycross she was employed by McKinney Community Health Center. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. After she returned to Waycross, she joined membership </p><p>4</p><p>with Family Worship Center. She sang in the choir and was a member of the prayer ministry. She was a prayer warrior who loved the Lord and her church family. She also loved to cook and would feed everyone that came to her house. Fishing was her favorite pastime and she also loved to read to her granddaughter. On Sunday (June 9, 2019), she was called from her earthly home to her heavenly home after an illness. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Linda Clark. Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Frank Jackson, of Dallas, Texas, Frederick Jackson, of Morgan, and Eli Jackson, of Waycross; a beautiful granddaughter, Aniyah, of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers and a sister, David Clark of Lutz, FL, Rufus (Carol) Williams of Daytona Beach, FL, Sylvester Armstrong of Waycross, and Margo (James) Green of Jacksonville, FL; an uncle, Jon (Barbara) Williams of Milton, FL; an aunt, Rosetta Williams of Chesapeake, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Survived by a son; Brad Jackson of Perry, FL, a daughter; Carla (Andy) Young of Perry, FL, a sister; Nelda Faye Maddox of Perry, FL, (2) grandchildren; Keith Young and Kellie Young, (3) great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home on Thursday, December 24, 2009. Burns Funeral Home, Perry, FL and Mayo, FL) Iris Murel (Santerfeit) Jackson, 96, beloved mother and grandmother, died on January 13, 2012 at Marshall Health and Rehab. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edwin Jerry Jackson 23 years ago, December 7, 1988. She was born in Mayo (Lafayette County) FL on August 29, 1915 to Walter Stewart and Arrie (Mouring) Santerfeit. She moved to Fenholloway as a young girl and married her High School sweetheart, Edwin. In 1957 they moved to Perry. When moving to Perry they owned and operated Jackson’s Grocery. Then for 16 years she worked at the Fair Store in Perry. Mrs. Jackson was a founding member of Grace </p>
