So enjoy your time with colleagues, have fun, learn, and take away information and connections that are sure to help with your airport operations. Yet, remember WAMA is offering so much more to all our members. Moving forward, we will be planning a trip to Washington D.C. with the goal of promoting Wisconsin aviation and lobbying for increased discretionary funding for our airports! WAMA, along with the Wisconsin Aviation Conference will continue to host Legislative Day, where we travel to Madison to meet with all the movers and shakers in Wisconsin to promote our industry’s interests. We will continue to make impacts on legislation. So bottom line, get involved with us now! WELCOME TO BROWN COUNTY! On behalf of Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), and all the residents of Brown County, I'd like to welcome you to the 64th annual Wisconsin Aviation Conference. We are pleased to host airport professionals, consultants and vendors who help to promote aviation and airports throughout Wisconsin. As the economic door step into to our communities, airports play a vital role in local economies, and GRB is no exception. According to a 2017 economic impact study by WisDOT's Bureau of Aeronautics, GRB provided more than $265 million in economic output, supported more than 1,700 jobs and contributed more than $77 million in labor income to the local and state economy. The airport, owned and operated by Brown County, is a self-funded enterprise and a U.S. Port of Entry. We are served by four major passenger airlines (American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines and United Airlines), providing 29 daily departures and connections to destinations in the world. GRB is also home to two world-class FBOs, and International Arrivals Terminal and it is the official Gateway to Lambeau Field. Speaking of Lambeau Field, I hope you have an opportunity to visit some of the top sites and attractions in our community over the course of the next few days. You'll find we have an exciting and vibrant community. Again, welcome and enjoy the conference. Troy J.
