This year our moderator will be none other than Chris Gore, an author, columnist, television host and filmmaker who has built a solid reputation as the brutally honest founder of the legendary Film Threat online magazine. He is the author of four books on film, including The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide, considered a bible for fans and film- makers touring the festival circuit. Gore began his independent filmmaking career with the cult short Red starring tough guy Lawrence Tier- ney from Reservoir Dogs. He also co-wrote and pro- duced the feature comedy that toured the festival circuit, My Big Fat Independent Movie. In addition, Gore appears on television weekly as the film expert on G4 TV’s Attack of the Show. He was named one of the 25 Most Influential People in Independent Film by Film Festival Today magazine.
