We get the clothes on our backs from our culture, just as we get the language in our mouths from our culture. In the many societies we see today, there are structures and customs that have survived the sands of time and seas of space in order to be here now and give us our ways of life. Imagine your culture disappearing completely. My husband and I are proud to be active participants in building a strong Mequon-Thiensville community. In April of last year, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal in an area between the capital, Kathmandu, and the city of Pokhara.
