First of all, discover 14 brand new dances fresh from their CBA outing. We are spoiling you this year with choreographies from names like Alison and Peter, Yvonne Anderson, Kate Sala, Rachael McEnaney, Ria Vos and many, many more. If anyone should doubt the level of talent that Line dance choreographers possess, let them look at these scripts! Talking of the CBA, our first eight page photo report is in this issue. You can live and relive some of the highlights of this ‘event of events’ and if you are thinking of joining the Safari madness in 2015, book now before it’s sold out. All details are in this issue. With the LDF day looming large, Linedancer is proud to introduce the national LDF dance of 2014. I am sure you will agree that this year’s dance has a terrific tune written by Rick Guard and performed by the talented Phil Redmond as well as a fabulous dance from multi CBA winner Pat Stott. We predict a big hit. You can download the music from the main website and all proceeds to go to the LDF, a very worthy cause. We continue our new Spotlight section with Peter Jones and Anna Lockwood and invite you to try out four scripts they have selected themselves. The only way for newcomers to get noticed is to get dancers to try their choreographies. As most dancers welcome a little change now and then, Spotlight is the ideal opportunity for everyone to do something different. So why not help them help you and add them to your favourites today. Your new edition of Linedancer is also packed with features, fun and news, making Linedancer Magazine YOUR favourite magazine! www.linedancermagazine.com February 2014 • 3 dear dancers.indd 1 30/01/2014 13:30 International Line Dance Festival November, 28th-30th 2014 Pre-Bookings open by June 2014 1126177 1126177 cities.indd 1 30/01/2014 13:31 February 2014 Clare House 166 Lord Street Southport, PR9 0QA ✆ 01704 392 300 Fax*: 0871 900 5768 *Costs 10p per minute Subscription Enquiries ✆ 01704 392 300 This month … [email protected] Agent Enquiries 13 ✆ 01704 392 353 [email protected] 18th Crystal Boot Web Support Team Judy Dix and Steve Healy Weekend ✆ 01704 392 333 [email protected] Photo report on the highlights of an Webmaster Paul Swift amazing weekend [email protected] 28 Publisher Betty Drummond Oh Carol!
