Written by Pulitzer Prize–winning novelist, Cormac McCarthy, (The Road, No Country for Old Men), and directed by CV REP Artistic Director, Ron Celona, The Sunset Limited is an edge-of-your seat drama about “White” a Caucasian, atheistic professor, and “Black” an Afro-American ex-convict/evangelical Christian who are brought together by desperate circumstances on a New York City subway platform. The play begins soon after “Black” brings “White” back to his Harlem apartment where they lock horns in a high-stakes, electrifying faith-versus-reason debate. “There are some Playwright’s words that have to be experienced in person….an actor’s dream to share, and an audience’s moment to be a part of the collaboration of thoughtful words and the human spirit.
