Timboryn A single beach cottage sleeping 6 people Location Directions to “Timboryn” Coming from the west – from Knysna – along the N2 Port Elizabeth you should ignore the signs leading to Plettenberg Bay centre and remain on the N2 heading east. About 6 kilometres from the bottom of the hill will cross the Bitou and Keurbooms Rivers. In 1 more kilometre you will see Keurbooms River Tsitsikamma Coastal signs for two turnings to your right: The second sign is National Park for Keurboomstrand. Take the Keurboomstrand turning Nature Reserve (not Keurboomsrivier). In less than a kilometre is another Keurboomstrand sign at Yebo’s restaurant. Turn Right. Coming from the east – from Port Elizabeth – along the N2 there is a sign for a left turn 1 km after the bay comes into view and after you pass the telephone mast at the top of the hill. This is a very sharp left turn which banks Keurboomstrand the wrong way. It must be taken very slowly. In 2.5 kms Keurbooms River you will see the second sign for Keurboomstrand at Yebo’s restaurant. Turn left. East or West you are now at the same point. Proceed along this road for about 4 kms until you reach the stop sign after the left bend. Turn right onto Main Road and proceed over the first speed bump. Just before the second speed bump there are 2 white posts on the right hand side of the road and the wooden sign “Timboryn”. (Garden Street is to your left.) Turn right between the posts and proceed to the cottage closest to the sea. If you land in the sand you’ve gone too far! (If you end at Enrico’s Restaurant then you have also gone too far and so need to turn around and come back about 300 meters to the white posts.)
