Board Report To: Metrolinx Board of Directors From: Robert Siddall, Chief Financial Officer Judy Pfeifer , Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer Date: June 28, 2016 Re: Metrolinx Draft Annual Report 2015/16 Recommendations RESOLVED: THAT the Metrolinx Annual Report 2015/16 be approved; and THAT the CEO submit the Annual Report to the Minister of Transportation in accordance with the Metrolinx Act, 2006 .Background The Annual Report for 2015/16 will be printed in black and white and available at Metrolinx’s head office. In addition a colour version will be posted to Metrolinx’s website at http://www.metrolinx.com/en/aboutus/publications/annual_reports.aspx The Annual Report is consistent with the guideline provided by the Province for Annual Reports and is in accordance with the requirements of the Metrolinx Act, 2006. The Annual Report includes a look back at significant milestones from 2015-16, including the progress made on the 10-year Regional Express Rail initiative and the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (LRT), as well as the launch of UP Express, the activation of PRESTO on UP and the TTC, and supporting an increase of more than 35,000 additional GO customers every day. In addition there may be changes required as a result of the review of Audit, Finance and Risk Management Committee. This Draft Report will be finalized upon approval of the Board of Directors.
