Achievements If you are keen to achieve your goal you should give importance to three keywords – awareness, beliefs and com- mitment. These are the keywords which lead greater self-knowledge, a deeper understanding of others and a firmer grasp on how your words and behavior impact other people. Recognize the limiting beliefs that impede you achievement. Thereafter, you should overcome the obstacles to changing limiting beliefs. Group A HOD INTERACTION Mr. Shirish Nagar HOD-IT , with his team of 4-members of 4th year students interacted with the students of IT Branch (Sec-H). Senior faculty Mr. Sunil Gupta , Mr. Deepak Agarwal & Mr. Manish Kumar Sharma of CS department interacted with the students of CS Branch (Sec-E, F&G) Mr. Shailendra Kasera HOD-ME had an interaction with mechanical branch (Sec– A, B, & C) Main agenda of discussion was projects preparation, campus-placement, preparation for higher studies/GATE, Career plan, Co-curricular and club activities. CLASSES FOR C-PROGRAMMING Classes for C programming are going on T-T-S days for CS&IT branch students. Trainers are from 3rd year and 73 students have been benefited. A workshop on Computer hardware, Operating system Installation and Networking program is going on for 1st year, CS & IT branch. Three Aptitude classes taken on TTS days by ME-3rd year students. About 30 students are showing interest for attending the classes. NSP projects on four different topics are going on under the guidance of Mr. Sugreev Choudhary . MISSION 10X Faculties have prepared Mission 10X lecture , Arambh kit (Mission 10X) taken and used to get idea about Mission 10X. Dr. Bina Rani delivered Mission 10X lecture in Chemistry & Environmental Engg (204) on topic Environmental Acts & Regulation, Environmental Impact Assessment ( EIA) LECTURE ON ANIMAL SAVING CONDUCTED BY NGO KEEP CALM AND STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY आदि配यस्य नमस्कारं येु र्वन्ति क दिने दिने | POORIMA CORUSCATE जतमातिरसहस्रेषु िाररद्रयं नोपजायिे || 3 EVENTS / HAPPENINGS / ACHIEVEMENTS REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION The 66th Republic day was organized at PGC level with great enthusiasm at Arbuda Convention Centre on 26th January, 2015. Different cultural performance filled with aura of patriotism were given by students along with the faculty Felicitation Program.US President, Barack Obama was the chief guest of Republic Day celebration in New Delhi. He was accompanied by his wife (Michelle Obama). A live telecast of his address was organized by the management PGC at Arbuda Convention centre . NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY On the occasion of National Science Day, 28 Feb., 2015, the power point competition was organized in group A I year. The topic of presentation was ‘INNOVATION IN ENGINEERING’. Around 8 groups participated in the event, each group having 1-3 students. The activity was co-ordinated by Ms. Deepika Sharma Among all participants winner are - Winner : Shashank ,Udit & Saurav (Sec-D) Runner Up– Rahul Singhal (Sec-F) “ROPE SKIPPING AND ADVERISTMENT COMPETITION” To enhance the marketing skills of girls students of PCE Campus , under FUN cluster of “WOMAN IN SCI- ENCE AND ENGINEERING (WISE) Society ,on 28th February, 2015 an activity was organized in Poornima College of Engineering. Dr. Shuchi Dave motivated the students by her words of wisdom. She also appreciated the initiative taken by the girls students of various departments. An Expert Talk was con- ducted on “Women Health Related Issues” by Home Science Club WISE, PCE by Dr. Shalini Sharma SELF HELP GROUP (SHG) Self Help Groups are created so that students learn to work in groups . A Group consist of 5 - 6 Members from which a coordinator & co-coordinator is selected . It helps the weak students to improve in their studies .
