After registering as a sports volunteer, Smile Supporters, we request volunteers at sports events to conduct support activities such as water-supplying for marathon runners, guiding athletes and spectators, and assisting in multilingual conversations. ■ Number of registered volunteers: 1,133 (as of Feb. 2020) ■ Held 31 event activities and workshops (four times per year), with a total of over 950 participants. (Results for FY2018) ■ In order to increase the number of young volunteers , dissemination and enlightenment activities aimed at students, mainly universities in Sapporo ■ Publishing a monthly newsletter, With Smile, to disseminate information on athletes and sports 2020.02.
