The objectives: – Discuss lessons learned from previous studies and meetings – Design a practical communication strategy that the government can undertake with or without external technical and funding assistance – Discuss monitoring and evaluation strategy of agreed communication strategy • Expected outcomes – Participants will understand the lessons learned from previous studies and meetings and relate these to achievable communication/behavior change objectives – Participatory communication strategy report with detailed practical methodology in view of absence of external and/or local private funding – Mechanism in monitoring and evaluation Animal disease surveillance • Conduct sero-survey in Kampong Cham province in November 2015 under FMD-ROK Project • Conduct surveillance on trans-boundary animal diseases (FMD, HS, PRRS and CSF) in 3 target provinces (Svay Rieng, Takeo and Tboung Khmum) under ADB-SPS Project Meeting/ Workshop • Attended the 21st Meeting of the OIE Sub-Commission for Foot and Mouth Disease in South-East Asia and China in Manila, Philippines from 10-13 March 2015 • Attended the workshop on the OIE Procedure for the endorsement of official national control program and for the official recognition of Member Countries’ disease status with regards to Foot and Mouth Disease in Bangkok, Thailand from 07-08 July 2015 • Attend 18th SEAFMD National Coordinator Meeting in Qingdao, China, 26-28 August 2015 • Attend the Third Meeting of the ASEAN Ad-Hoc Veterinary Epidemiology Group (AVEG), Nunthaburi, Thailand, 11-13 November 2015 Resources and Funding for FMD Control and Capacity Building – ADB-SPS Project – FMD-ROK Project – DAHP Project (government fund) Constraints and Solutions Employed/To be considered • Late reporting from the village level so how to encourage grass-root
