Many have died, many have lost their means of livelihood, and the economy is in recession. The year indeed has tested, and is still testing, our resilience as human beings and our humanity. With a pandemic raging on, one may be tempted to ask – “Is there any reason to celebrate?”. I will answer in the affirmative. Through this pandemic, we have come to understand that in the connected world we now live in, no one is immune from the goings-on in its different corners, what impacts one can affect another irrespective of proximity.
