[Digitare il testo] Press release PARMA KARTING AIMS FOR MORE EXCITING RACING IN 2013 LONATO SET TO HOST BOTH THE 2012 TROFEO ANDREA MARGUTTI AND TROFEO DELLE INDUSTRIE, THE TWO WORLD-­‐RENOWNED EVENTS ARE SET TO TAKE PLACE RESPECTIVELY IN MARCH AND SEPTEMBER Parma I, 12.17.2012 -­‐ The “South Garda” racetrack in Lonato, close to Lake Garda, will be hosting the Trofeo Andrea Margutti again. The race, scheduled between the 7th and 10th , of March will be celebrating its 24th edition and will be open to new categories: KFJ (formerly known as KF3) and KF (ex-­‐ KF2) are set to join KZ2 and 60 Mini. Traditionally promoted and organized by Parma Karting , Asd the race is set to be once again a top-­‐notch event in the international kart racing panorama and will be featuring some some of the best talent in business. In 2012, 245 drivers signed-­‐up to join the “Margutti” roster. The Emilia-­‐based association will be back in September (6th-­‐8th) with the 42nd running of the Trofeo delle Industrie. The Lonato circuit has been confirmed for this season's round, providing a great environment for a long-­‐standing event. Just a few months ago, the Trofeo brought on-­‐track 150 drivers. Both events have the honour and the privilege of having made history in kart racing and they still stand as two of the most historical competition of the sport. The rolls of honour speak by themselves. The “Margutti” trophy was won by people like Giancarlo Fisichella, Robert Kubica, Toni Vilander and Edoardo Mortara, just to name a few. The Trofeo delle Industrie has an even longer history of world-­‐class winners like Beppe Gabbiani, Corrado and Teo Fabi, Paolo Barilla, Ivan Capelli, Stefano Modena, Vincenzo Sospiri, Gabriele Tarquini, Alex Zanardi, Fabrizio Giovanardi, Max Papis, Jarno Trulli, Giancarlo Fisichella and, more recently, Ronnie Quintarelli, Giorgio Pantano and Lewis Hamilton.
