These 10 acres bring the total acreage of the preserve to 695! This addition was made possible by a partnership with Ruth Murphy, whose great-grandparents owned the property in the early 1900s. 5. MAPLE RIVER WATERSHED CIP 80 acres Bliss Township LTC has reinvigorated its Conservation Investment Program (CIP) with the completion of this project. Through the CIP, a land is purchased, protected with a conservation easement, and then resold to a conservation-minded buyer. This allows LTC to protect property but limit our stewardship responsibility.
