The wool shop closed around 1969 and became a sweet shop before being converted into a house. Graham’s elder brother Hedley Vick was lead guitarist in the group The Swinging Bluejeans 1975/6. Thanks to John Thomas for making the connection with this one, his mum Peggy would occasionally buy wool from Mrs Vick’s shop.
