CLAYTON LIBRARÏ THE Yancy - Caddell AND Allied Families BY I LA MITCHELL CONNER 1959 FOREWORD History of one's country is interesting, but history of one's descen dants and family is something to be cherished. The information collected and given in this book took time and effort on the part of the author, Mrs. Robert Conner, who is my sister. One of her hobbies was securing data for our family records which gives from the years 1732 to 1959. Each family connected is grateful for this genealogy. Because of this book comes out from the garden of memories the history of my parents and grandparents as well as other relatives. Zora Mitchell Hill Winters, Texas March 14, 1959 PREFACE It has been, a privilege to collect data, and write a recorded family his tory. The purpose was to preserve family records and history of our des cendents. May we cherish the memory of those who have gone on and what they have contributed to our heritage. Also, may our future generations be proud of our achievements and what we have contributed to our family history. This could not have been accomplished without help and thanks to all who have assisted. Especially, for using information on the Bright Family, found in Georgië Hopkins Ford book entitled, "Kentucky Brights and their Kin".
