An invaluable reference to all vessels involved in Operation Neptune, the amphibious assault part of Operation Overlord. Relevant photos and vessel identities are highlighted and/or tabbed. There are numerous cross-references to 2/B/K below. 2/B/K Operation Overlord Book, specially printed from the original held by The Green Howards Museum, Richmond, Yorkshire. A wonderfully detailed, invaluable reference book, hand-typed and produced by an unknown compiler, in August ’44 as a Report, Record and Study relating specifically to Gold beach. Details were gathered into the book, prior to any individual operational reports being received and collated.
