There were no preventable accidents for the SPRINTER and COASTER in both quarters. Non-preventable accidents trended up for LIFT/FLEX, down for BREEZE and were unchanged for COASTER and SPRINTER. Rail accidents decreased for Metrolink while there was no change in the number of accidents for Amtrak and SPRINTER between the two quarters. There were zero accidents for BNSF and COASTER. Rail near-miss incidents showed an increasing trend for Amtrak, BNSF and SPRINTER and no change for COASTER.
