No Rain : Nil WEATHER AND ASSOCIATED SYNOPTIC FEATURES : 1) Last week’s upper air cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep and adjoining Southeast Arabian sea extending up to 1.5 km above sea level persisted on 17 th and lay over Southeast Arabian sea and adjoining Lakshadweep area on 18 th and extended up to 0.9 km above sea level. It lay over Southeast Arabian sea and neighborhood on 19 th and moved away West ward on 20 th and became unimportant. 2) Last week’s upper air cyclonic circulation over comorin and adjoining Srilanka became less marked on 17 th . 3) An upper air trough runs from East Utter Pradesh to Eastern parts of Vidarbha extending up to 1.5 km above sea level on 18 th and became less marked on 19 th . 4) An upper cyclonic circulation lay over Lakshadweep and adjoining Maldives area extending up to 0.9 km above sea level on 20 th . It moved West ward on 21 st and lay over Southeast Arabian sea adjoining Southeast Arabian sea extending up to 1.5 km above sea level. It became unimportant on 22 nd . 5) A trough lay from Northwest Madhya Pradesh to Vidarbha extended up to 0.9 km above sea level on 20 th . 6) An upper air cyclonic circulation lay over Gujarat and adjoining Southwest Madhya Pradesh and extended up to 1.5 km above sea level on 20th. It lay over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Vidrabha on 21 st and extended up to 0.9 km above sea level. It lay over Vidarbha and neighborhood and extended up to 1.5 above sea level on 22 nd and lay over South Chattisgarh and adjoining Vidarbha extending up to 0.9 km above sea level at the end of the week. 6°C recorded at Nasik on 23rd was the lowest minimum temperature over the region during the week.
