Accepting a recommendation from Superintendent Nick Langhals, the board instead adopted a plan to develop a program in conjunction with Vantage Career Center, intended for implementation in the 2016-17 school year. “We already do Industrial Arts,” Lanhals reported. “We do some Healthy Lifestyles classes. So we are offering this to our students, but it’s not a career-technical, school-based program. So, by working with them throughout the year, we’ll be able to align our programs.” Sophomore Ohio Graduation Test results were also shared with the board.
