Yes Board 2) Make a presentation to 75% of Alpha Phi pertaining to alcohol and hazing awareness. Jenny Nirh must first approve the presentation before it is given.Invite all Panhellenic Sorority executive councils to attend. Presentation must be made by December 9th 2010. Monetary Sanction, Probation through March 2012, Community Service, Chapter must release all Spring 2011 Dean of Violation of the UA Hazing Policy and New Members from the NM program, New Member program will be limited to 6 weeks, a membership review Students Beta Theta Pi Providing Alcohol to underage must be completed by October 15th. The chapter will remain on activities with alcohol suspension, an Ongoing Office individuals organizational review must be done in regards to the new member program, hazing and risk management education. All member must complete TIPS training, all active members must participate in hazing education. Write an apology letter to surrounding neighbors near Beta Theta Pi explaining the incident and welcoming Standards neighbors to contact Beta Theta Pi with any further questions or regards by October 11th 2010. Please write a Beta Theta Pi Neighborhood Noise Complaint Yes Board letter to 5-10 Houses surrounding Beta Theta Pi and turn in a copy of the letter to the Greek Life office by October 11th 2010 Standards Because this is a first offense, the board has decided to issue a warning. Office endangering university students Monetary Sanction, University Probation Through May 2012, community service, suspension of all activities, a Dean of 3rd membership review, Restriction of Recruitment and New Member Program until Jan 2012, Hold a hazing Students Delta Chi Violation of the UA Hazing Policy No symposium, Organizational review. OUTSTANDING SANCTIONS- Monetary Sanction, Community Service, Office Suspension of events with alcohol. 1) Construct a new member program and turn it in to Jenny Nirh for Approval by November 1st 2010. 2) Social Probation from 10/25/2010-3/1/2010. Standards 3) Jenny Nirh will make a presentation to your entire chapter discussing hazing by December 1st 2010. Delta Chi Lambda Violation of the UA Hazing Policy No Board 4) Jenny will meet with all 8 new members again by November 15, 2010 to track their progress. 5) If these sanctions are not completed by the above dates, you will be sent back to the Greek Standards Board for further evaluation. 1) The President, New Member Educator and Advisor shall meet bi-weekly with Jenny Nirh starting 01/31/2011- 03/07/2011 to discuss the new member process and chapter weekly activities. After 03/07/2011, it is up to the discretion of Jenny Nirh to meet with Delta Chi Lambda until 05/25/2011. 2) Delta Chi Lambda will be required to submit their initiation week schedule to Jenny Nirh one week before Violation of the UA Hazing Policy and their 2011 “Spring Class” starts their initiation week. Standards Delta Chi Lambda of previous Standards Board 3) Delta Chi Lambda will be required to have a 100% of their membership complete Greeklife.edu by 04/01/2011. No Board Sanctions 4) Jenny Nirh will make a presentation to your entire chapter discussing hazing by 03/01/2011. A 100% attendance of the chapter will be required to give the presentation and Jenny will let Delta Chi Lambda know a week in advance of a possible date. 5) Any further infraction of these sanctions or Case 10F-10 will be directed straight to the dean’s office until 12/08/2011. 1. The events must be open to all of Greek Life and the General alcohol Public. 2. Delta Gamma must create an individual banner for Alcohol Awareness Week that is hung on the mall throughout the week. Create and send an apology letter to Residence Life about the water fight. This must be done by May 21st 2011. Also, turn in a copy to the Greek Standards Box. 2. Create for Homecoming 2011 a detailed week events list with all of the Standards Violation of Greek and Residence Life Kappa Alpha Theta activities to give out to your chapter and hand a copy into the Greek Standards Ongoing Board Community Standards Box the week before Homecoming begins. 3. The Greek Standards Board recommends that Water Fights are moved off campus because this is a consecutive year of judicial history with the event on campus 1.
