SCOPE OF WORK SKAGIT COUNTY STREET WASTE FACILITY PROJECT #WA402170 This contract provides for the construction of a street waste decant and disposal facility within an existing incinerator building in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The project includes the following: • Demolition and replacement of a portion of the existing tipping floor to create a decant settling area. • Installation of concrete partition walls to separate decant dump areas from decant settling area. • Vertical extension of the existing pit wall to form a concrete push wall at the rear of the decant dump and settling areas. • Installation of a concrete sump and sump pump within the existing refuse pit, and discharge piping connection to an existing wastewater manhole. • Extension of electrical power to sump pump and control panel location, and installation of flow meter on the sump discharge line. • Installation of accessory structures including chain link fence and an access ladder. Schedule: This project will be ready to proceed upon contract execution. Measurement and Payment: Each item will be per the bid proposal.
