Exercises challenge creativity and visual aesthetics with emphasis on type. Typographical assignments are presented through themed projects. Layouts vary greatly from one-page to multiple-page problems. Exercises are geared to develop sensitivity to the integration of typography and with a variety of visual imagery. Page publication applications are used.
