Recent Updates A number of Yarmouk citizens who live in Yalda was protesting against the Syrian siege on Yarmouk and southern area of Damascus. In the meantime, high school students have returned yesterday after they finished their pre- final exams for the year 2016-2017 which was held by Ministry of Education. Despite the siege fierce clashes between ISIS and Al- Nusra Front, students went to "Said al-Ass" and "Palestine" Institutes in Damascus. In western Ghouta of Damascus countryside, Russian- Syrian aircrafts targeted Khan Al-Sheih with two raids. One of the raids hit the eastern lane of the camp causing extensive destruction and rising panic. While regime's artillery bombed Khan Al- Sheih- Zakia road, which is considered as the only lifeline road that provides people with its needs and supplies. And Since all roads leading to the camp are closed, people have to take Zakia Road in spite of its highly danger since the Syrian regime's sites were always being targeted there. It's also called " the road of Death" since large number of victims were killed there. In its turn, the association of "Palestinian Doctors in Europe" warned from the deterioration of humanitarian situation in Khan Al – Sheih and called its residents' conditions as "catastrophic". It also mentioned in its statement that this deteriorated situation is a result of targeting civilians by deadly international prohibited weapons. Those weapons left dozens of victims and injuries, wide destruction in infrastructure and general facilities like medical centers and the only hospital, which are now off-duty. In addition to endanger the lives of 12000 civilians including 3000 children in the camp. The association also appealed the international community and governmental and non-governmental organizations to rescue civilians, open safe paths, provide the camp with medical aids, medicines and special food for infants and newborn babies and to allow patients to get out of the camp for their treatment. AGPS documentation and observation team reported that Syrian regime had arrested in September (8) Palestinian refugees; (4) of them from Neirab, (2) from Yarmouk and the last (2) were from Muzeireeb in the south if Daraa. AGPS has also confirmed that its documentation team had reported about (1112) Palestinian detainees since the beginning of war in Syria and most of them were young men. Handarat Camp: - All Residents have left the camp for about (1261) days after the Syrian Opposition Groups controlled it. Daraa Camp: - It is now almost (919) days without water and almost 70% of its buildings were totally destroyed. Jarmana, AL Sayeda -Zeinab, Al Raml, Al Aedein Camps in Homs and Hama: A relatively quiet situation in light of the economic crises. Khan Al Sheih Camp: Roads linking the camp to the city center are still closed except for Zakia- Khan Al Sheih road.
