Online-Version FLIGHT SEARCH FLIGHT STATUS ROUND THE WORLD STARALLIANCE.CH Dear Mr. Wipraechtiger, Just recently Star Alliance enhanced the connection service at selected Star Alliance hubs Newark (EWR) and London (LHR). This way, we help our customers every day when transferring from one Star carrier to another. The Connection Service springs into action if an incoming Star Alliance flight is delayed. Then Connection Service staff monitor the transfer window for passengers with an onward flight on another member airline and flag any cases where a customer and checked bags appear at risk of missing the connection. Passengers with tight connections will be escorted by a Connection Service agent, while the baggage handling is being expedited, to ensuring the customer and his baggage reach the connecting flight as soon as possible. In cases, where the connecting flight cannot be reached, the Connection Service team takes care of rebookings to ensure, our customers can continue their journey as seamless as possible. In Europe, the Star Alliance Connection Service is available in Frankfurt (FRA),Munich (MUC) and London (LHR) . In North America, the service is available in Chicago (ORD), Denver (DEN), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), Newark (EWR),San Francisco (SFO), Toronto (YYZ) and Washington Dulles (IAD).
