Walt Disney Communication Through Animation Group Exhibit Junior Division Katelyn Rogers Makayla Sapien Word Count: 487 Process Paper Word Count: 500 Process Paper Our project relates to the annual theme because the person that we did our project on had a big role in animation. He brightened everybody's childhood hood with his communication through his creations, cartoons, and movies. We chose our theme because we thought that Walt Disney had great communication through animation history. We came up with our topic because we thought Walter was a great example for this year's theme. We created our project by collecting basic information. After we got our information we started to put our information into paragraphs. After we had put our paragraphs. Next, we started looking online for sites to put into our bibliography. After we completed our bibliography we started on our virtual board. After we got our board started we finished up our required paperwork. Such as our bibliography, thesis statement etc. Some struggles that occurred while putting our project together were first starting and planning how our project process was going to look like. This was a struggle for us because we had to use technology and screens only in order to make a qualifying project. Another problem that we encountered while doing our project was gathering and finding enough information for all the paperwork that was required. This was a problem for two reasons. The first reason being not having enough options for our sources we had to choose for our project. The second reason being we had a fair amount of information from our sources to choose from after researching for about a month or two. Where the issue came in for us is not being able to fully look into every bit of information we needed. For example, we had to make sure there were no duplicates or the same information that we put on our board or put into our paper. Small things like that were one of the main things we struggled with. We conducted our research by experimenting with different websites. For instance, for our paperwork, we researched sites and sources that would fit in with our topic and the person we are researching. The next step that we did was to use some information from our other sources. Our historical argument is all of the animation and creations that happened. It is also how he changed and put animation from a different perspective. He also did not only create cartoons that everybody loved, but he brought his creations to life. He did this by creating amusement parks that were for everyone. He went through many steps into his entrepreneur and animation career. Walter was significant in history because he had a big change that impacted animation’s history. Walt Disney made an animation that brings the whole family together. He did what was thought to be impossible; he made characters move! Disney inspired many to keep moving forward with their dreams and put smiles on countless faces and made the world seem not as negative. Even today you can see Walt Disney’s name almost everywhere!
