Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council July 15, 2021 RAINFALL ADVISORY No. 1 NL_PRSD - Benguet Radar DATE ISSUED July 15, 2021 TIME ISSUED 05:13 pm REGIONS Region 1, Region 2, CAR SUBJECT No. 1 NL_PRSD - Benguet Radar WEATHER SYSTEM Low Pressure Area (LPA) / Southwest Monsoon EFFECTS Moderate to occasionally heavy rains are being experienced over portions of Ifugao (Asipulo, Banaue, Hingyon, Hungduan, Kiangan, Lagawe, Lamut, Mayoyao and Tinoc), Nueva Vizcaya (Ambaguio, Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Diadi, Dupax Del Norte, Kasibu, Kayapa, Quezon and Solano), and Pangasinan (Natividad, San Quintin, and Umingan) which may persist for 1-2 hours may affect nearby areas. RECOMMENDED All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards. Residents along the mountain slope are advised of possible landslides mudslides, rock slides, and flash floods. Keep monitoring for updates. Moreover, concerned offices are directed to reiterate the guidelines on personal protection and hygiene such as respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene, physical distancing, environmental, and food safety measures. Further, people living in the aforementioned areas are hereby advised to be on alert, take necessary precautions and follow the advise of their respective Local DRRMCs.
