Beginning Piano/Keyboard Classes to be Offered At St. Pius X School St. Pius X School and Keyboards Unlimited Piano Studio, a neighborhood piano studio currently serving many SPX students, have teamed up to provide a unique, innovative opportunity for your child. We want to make this opportunity convenient and available to your family, helping you manage your family's time. For approximately a half hour per week, during your child's recess period at St. Pius, s/he can learn to play the piano and enhance musical skills in a high-quality, high-integrity small group setting. This fun and exciting class is available for 1st thru 5th grades and is an excellent opportunity to develop your child's musical talent, prepare a 4th or 5th grader for middle-school/high school music opportunities, or to just try something new. Did you know that recent studies suggest that playing music may improve learning, memory, logic and general creativity? The class will be held on Mondays for 14 weeks, beginning October 21st. The total cost is $220, which includes music and supplies, and can be paid in monthly installments ($200 if paid in full). More information will be sent home later this week. If you have questions in the meantime, contact John and Diane Haines of Keyboards Unlimited @ 317-432-6291 or [email protected]. You can find the registration form here. Simply complete and return to the school office. CYO PHYSICAL FORMS To participate in a CYO sport each participant must have an updated physical form on file each year before participating.
