The Jekyll Island Club Resort is responsible to abide by the regulations of the Georgia State Beverage Commission. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the Hotel from other sources. At the conclusion of your beverage function an inventory is taken of the liquor remaining and charges are made on a basis of the amount consumed. We welcome your review of these records to 1 ensure your satisfaction with their accuracy. Cocktails are calculated at 26 drinks per liter. We serve 1- /4 ounces of liquor per cocktail. Twenty-one years is the legal drinking age in the State of Georgia. Your younger guests may be asked for identification. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest. Georgia State law prohibits the sale of alcohol on Sunday before 12:30 p.m. MENU SELECTION These menus are meant to be a guide; however, we welcome the opportunity to create a special menu for your function. All menu selections should be made with your Catering Manager at least 30 days prior to your groups function(s). This is in order for us to assure the availability of requested items. Menus selected after this date will be subject to approval of the Executive Chef. Health regulations prohibit any remaining food to be removed from the Resort upon conclusion of the event. Buffet menus require 25 people or more. GUARANTEES The Catering Department requires a guaranteed attendance for all food and beverage functions THREE WEEKS prior to the function. We shall, in turn, prepare 5% over your guaranteed figure. The actual charge will depend on the final number in attendance or your guarantee, whichever is greater. Please note if your guaranteed numbers are larger than your contracted space can hold, and the Resort accommodates you in a larger space additional site fees will be applied. DEPOSITS There is an initial deposit due at the time the sales and catering contract is signed which will be equal to the sum of all the site fees, 50% of a package with add-ons, or a flat fee depending on group specifications. A second deposit will be due at the time that all the banquet event orders are completed which will be equal to 50% of the estimated food and beverage for all events. The remainder of the estimate will be due 3 weels prior to your event. Any outstanding balances will be taken care of at the end of the function or when the contact checks out of the hotel. SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS The Resort has an exclusive contract with Beachview Tent Rentals. Please see your catering manager for a list of these items or visit www.beachviewtentrentals.com. All specialty items must be ordered in through the hotel. All specialty items must be cancelled no less than 60 days prior to event or full amount will be owed. OUTDOOR FUNCTIONS In the event of a forty-percent or more inclement weather forecast, the Resort reserves the right to decide four hours prior to the event to relocate the function indoors. DAMAGE AND LOSS The Jekyll Island Club Resort assumes no responsibility for any items placed in a function room prior to or during an event or left afterwards by guests or vendors. Each sponsor of
