The Royal Air Force Museum Is Reviewing Its Current Holdings in the Collection

The Royal Air Force Museum is reviewing its current holdings in the Collection. A comprehensive review is being conducted by representatives from the following departments: • Curatorial • Collections Services • Access and Learning • Visitor Services The following objects have been have selected for disposal. These engines have been on long term loan to the borrowers, as detailed below, and either duplicate our existing holdings or fall outside our collecting remit. The Royal Air Force Museum would like to gift these engines to the borrowers listed below as all are on display, fulfil the remits of the borrowing institutions and have been cared for to a good standard. We invite comments from colleagues within the UK museum sector on these gifting proposals. Further information can be provided on request. Comments are invited until 19th August 2019.
