JJ Quality Again: Since being optioned to Gwinnett by Atlanta following a shaky start (0-2, 9.37 ERA in 4 starts with the Braves), right-hander Jair Jurrjens has been strong for the G-Braves. He’s 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA (3 ER in 15.0 IP) over two quality starts and has limited IL opponents to a .176 average (9-for-51). On Sunday, Jurrjens became the first G-Brave to work 8.0 innings this season (5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K in win vs. Charlotte). A career 50-35 with a 3.53 ERA in 119 Major League starts including 47-34, 3.48 with Atlanta, Jurrjens is 3-1 with a 3.44 ERA (13 ER in 34.0 IP) in six career Triple-A starts (all with Gwinnett).
