Identification No. Online Tender /12/ GMID-I/ 2015-16 Executive Engineer, M.I.Division, Ganjam No-I, Berhampur on behalf of Government of Odisha invites Percentage Rate Tender through e-procurement for Civil Works . The bid should be submitted on-line in the website www.tendersodisha.gov.in by eligible class of contractors of Government of Odisha or of equivalent class of other State Government / Railways/ CPWD/ MES. The bidders should have the necessary portal enrolment (with his own Digital Signature Certificate) of class-II or class-III. The Bid for the work shall remain open for acceptance for a period of ninety days from the last date of receipt of Bids. If any Bidder / Tenderer withdraws his Bid/Tender before the said period or makes any modif ication in the terms and conditions of the Bid, the said earnest money shall stand forfeited. Conditional Bid is subject to forfeiture of E.M.D. 9. Exemption of E.M.D . To avail the exemption of EMD, the intending Engineering Contractor should have to fu rnish an affidavit to the effect that he has not been awarded works maximum up to 3 Nos. during the current financial year along with the tender paper. The successful Engineering Contractor shall have to submit the original registration License before drawl of agreement for making necessary entry in it towards EMD exemption failing which his tender will be cancelled and the registration authority will be moved for taking penal action against him. 10. When the bid amount is up to 10% less than the estimate d cost, no additional performance security is required to be deposited. When the bid amount is less than the estimated cost by more than 10% and within 15%, in such an event, the successful bidder will deposit the additional performance security to the extent of 1.5 times of the differential cost of the bid amount and 90% of the estimated cost in shape of Post Office Savings Banks Account / National Saving Certificate / Post Office Time Deposit Account / Kisan Vikas Patra / Deposit Receipt of any Schedule Bank duly Pledged in favour of Executive Engineer M.I Divn. No Engineer of Gazetted rank or other Gazetted officer employed in Engineering or Administrative duties in an Engineering Department of the State Government is allowed to work as a Contractor for a period of two years after his retirement from Government Service, without Government permission. 12. The successful tenderer shall have to produce original registration ce rtificate, VAT clearance in form VAT-612, PAN for verification before drawl of agreement. 15. Quality control tests as per specification for all items of the work executed will be taken in nearby Government Quality Control Laboratories of Minor / Medium / Major Irrigation Organisation. It is binding on successful bidder to extend all necessary support in getting the tests done till completion of the work in all respect at his own cost. 16. Successful tenderer will be intimated for executing agreement. 17 . The single tender received shall be cancelled without opening the bid in 1 st call. 18. Government of Odisha Works Deptt. Office memorandum No. 12366 dtd. 08.11.2013 should be followed scrupulously while tendering. 19. If the office happens to be closed on the date of closing / opening of the bids as specified, the bids will be closed / opened on the next working day subsequently at the same time and venue.
