Bids shall conform to all requirements of AIA Document A701 - Instructions of Bidders and Section 00 2114 - Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. 2. Bids shall be completed through BidSync as directed and posted by the owner 1.06 PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS A. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the Owner with the following: 1. AIA Documents A312 - Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each to the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount. 1.07 CONTRACTOR'S LIABILITY INSURANCE A. Refer to Section 00 7300 - Supplementary General Conditions. B. Certificates of Insurance acceptable to the Owner shall be filed with the Owner prior to commencement of the work. These certificates and the insurance policies required by this paragraph shall contain a provision that coverages afforded under the policies will not be cancelled or allowed to expire until at least 30 days after written notice has been given to the Owner. If any of the foregoing insurance coverages are required to remain in force after final payment and are reasonably available, an additional certificate evidencing continuation of such coverage shall be submitted with the final Application for Payment. Information concerning reduction of coverage shall be furnished by the Contractor with reasonable promptness in accordance with the Contractor's information and belief. C. The Owner will be conducting a pre-bid walk through tour , to review existing conditions and accept questions for bidding purposes. The school address is 11917 S Mustang Trail Way, Herriman, Utah. 1. Date of walk through: January 19th, 2021 @ 10:00 am 1.09 COMPLETION TIME A. It is agreed by the parties to the contract that if the Contractor shall fail to complete his work on or before the date set for substantial completion, or extension thereof granted by the Owner, damage will be sustained by the Owner and that it is, and will be, impracticable and extremely difficult to fix the actual damage with the Owner will sustain in the event of and by reason of such delays. It is, therefore, agreed that the Contractor will pay the Owner liquidated damages in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) per calendar day, for each day the Contractor shall be in default. The Contractor agrees that any sums which; may be due the Owner as liquidated damages, may be deducted from any monies due, or to become due, the Contractor under the contract or may be collected from the Contractor's Surety. 1.
