I decided to pop in and asked if they would mind me taking some photographs. Though they had an official photographer at the time, Mark Shirley, after a quick chat and a promise of sending them some of the shots, I was given the OK to shoot. Later in the day I did some research and found out about this whole Barber scene. The Great British Barber Bash is a series of events that run throughout the UK to promote and showcase the best talent in the barbering community, at some very cool venues. I noticed there was an upcoming event at the Camp and Furnace located in Liverpool’s Baltic area, so got in touch to see if I could go along and shoot the event.
